On August 16th, a widespread and historic dry lightning event occurred across northern and central California. Over 10,000 strikes were recorded overnight. From these strikes, came an onslaught of raging fires that continue to burn through swaths of old growth redwood forests, homes, and towns throughout the state. Let’s show our love for our forests and communities, and rise with resilience, like the mighty redwoods we know and love.
